Dr. Peter Pham

A distinguished chemist, Dr. Pham is an innovative entrepreneur and practicing ophthalmologist in Houston. He began his academic journey by graduating summa cum laude with a degree in chemistry, following which he earned his medical degree from the prestigious Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Dr. Pham completed his ophthalmology residency at the renowned Doheny Eye Institute in Los Angeles, where he showcased his innovative spirit by co-developing the first online visual field system for glaucoma and macular degeneration. This trailblazing effort in remote patient care set the groundwork for establishing RemoniHealth, a company dedicated to managing complex diseases using enterprise-scale telemedicine technology.

In addition to his accomplishments in medicine and technology, Dr. Pham has made consequential strides in the field of natural health solutions. He patented an innovative system using okra polysaccharide complexes, known as Zokrex, as a natural alternative for addressing inflammation. The Zokrex platform is the only clinically proven alternative to tea tree oil for treating ocular Demodex without the stinging and discomfort of tea tree oil. This invention underlines his commitment to integrating natural science with medical applications. He is the CEO and Founder of Okra LLC, a company that stands at the forefront of incorporating the Zokrex platform in its line of Zocular products. John R. Choate

Mr. Choate has 30+ years of experience in the domestic and international medical device and pharmaceutical industries. He began his career at Alcon Laboratories and advanced in positions at Alcon, then at Medtronic Neuro. In 2003, he founded Advanced Pharma International that acquired/licensed OTC/pharmaceuticals as well as developing probiotics for adults and children for use in NA, Asia and EU.  In 2013, he co-founded Rysurg and is co-inventor of the first doctor’s treatment for blepharitis that is marketed globally.

John has also raised more than $1B in funding during his career and holds multiple US/global Patents. John provides consulting to Chinese pharma and medical device companies and is a board member for several companies in various sectors from health care to industrial nanotechnology as well as a consultant to several PE firms specializing in the medical device and pharmaceutical markets in the US and Asia.

Dr. Pham and John Choate formed Zognition ^™ by combining their six decades of expertise in medicine, pharmaceuticals, probiotics and supplements to release their new line of Cybiotica^™ probiotics.
